In a recent comment, Sienicki (2026b), extending earlier critiques (Sienicki & Sienicki, 2025; Sienicki, 2026a), raised a number of objections to our recent work on the presence of quantum-mechanical statistics in human language (Aerts et al., 2025) and AI-generated language (Aerts et al., 2026). We thank the authors for their careful reading of our work, and in this reply we address what we think are the main points of criticism.
